2008 – 2010 6.4L Powerstroke

The 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke is a V8 turbo diesel engine producing 350 horsepower  and 650 lb-ft torque (2008) or 362 horsepower and 660 lb-ft or torque (2009-2010). The 6.4L Powerstroke introduced a common-rail, high-pressure direct injection system with piezoelectric injectors. The 6.4L Powerstroke was produced from 2007 (for the 2008 model year) to 2010
Numerous problems plagued the 6.4L Powerstroke including up-pipe leaks, radiator problems, weak pistons, DPF clogging, and issues with the oil cooler among many others.
